My name is Heather Hart and I am the Director here at Crayon Campus. I started my employment with Crayon Campus on March 23, 1995. I was a mother of a 17 month old son, who needed to return to work. I started out as a substitute teacher and worked my way up to the position I now hold. My Assistant Director is Caryn Spradlin. Crayon Campus is a Christian Based Licensed Child Care Development Center providing care for Infants to Before & After School age students. We have two Infant Rooms, a 0-6 month old room and a 6-12 month old room, with a ratio of 1-4 in each room. We have two Toddler classrooms, a 12-18 month old room with a ratio of 1-5 and an 18-24 month old room with a ratio of 1-6. We have two Two year old rooms with ratios of 1-8 in each room. We have three Three year old rooms with a ratio of 1-12 in each room. We have 3 Four year old rooms with a ratio of 1-14 in each room. We have two School age rooms for our Before & After School program, as well for our Summer program, with a ratio of 1:26.

Crayon Campus has been in operation since February of 1994. Our original location was located off of Carrier and Warrior Trail. We moved to our new location in September of 1999. We are located at Robinson Road and West Chester Parkway just down the street from the post office. We have 4 age appropriate playgrounds. We have an Infant/Toddler playground, a Two year old playground, a 2-5 year old playground and a 5-12 year old playground.

We provide a Curriculum for each age group. Our Infants have Baby Signs which enables us to communicate with our infants. Toddlers have Creative Kaleidoscope which has the following key components: Baby Signs, Colors and Shapes, Critical Thinking, Opposites as well as Fun with Fitness. Our Two’s, Three’s and Pre-K classes curriculum is the A Beka program. This program is a phenomenal program. It uses phonics to teach the children their letters by sight and sound. Many of our students leave our program and enter Kindergarten reading. The curriculum we offer gives your child the advantage they need to excel in school. We teach them independent work, self-esteem and prepare them for a brighter future.

• Friday – JD Mobil Gymnastics

Every Friday afternoon we have Chapel here at the school.
